    Main Structure

    Trullo Petrarolo is made of of two main cones. The larger one holds the mezzanine and main living area. The first suite is inside the smaller cone, while the second larger suite has an arched ceiling of local stones to mimic the feel of its original state as an oven.

    Scenic Terraces

    The house and dining areas sit amidst a beautiful mediterranean garden while the rooftop has stunning views of the Adriatic sea and terraces of vineyards on the other side.

    Concealed Cleverness

    The external staircase as been masterfully recreated to how the farmer’s used to build them. It pushes you inward towards the structure as you climb so you don’t fall.

    Rooftop Terrace

    The rooftop terrace takes you to a breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea and the classic winding Apuglian vineyards on the other, a lovely place for quiet reflection or a spritz at sunset.

    Cozy Kitchen

    The indoor kitchen and lounge provide cozy spaces to curl up with a book and make a cup tea with views out to the outdoor dining terrace and pool.

    Cone Ceilings

    The stones used to restore the conical roofs are all original and create excellent sleepy atmospheres especially when in the mezzanine for a cheeky afternoon nap.

    Romantic Landscapes

    The trullo is surrounded by ancient olive trees and Mediterranean foliage to escape into a dreamy retreat.

    Traditional Cistern

    The cistern at the front of the Trullo is the oldest component to the structure. The masons would use the stones gathered from digging the cistern to start the trullo.

    Stolen Spaces

    To add more volumes the architects cleverly created niches within the thick stone walls to create storage, bathrooms, and even a shower!

    The interior of the first level of the main house -has a stunning living dining room with open plan kitchen. This room enjoys the stunning working fireplace.

    Roof Top Dining

    The Roof Top Dining area offers an unparalleled view of the estate. Up to 16 guests can dine in style either for lunch or dinner alongside the rooftop dipping pool.

    Naturally curving like a small perfect bay, with a beach and three different depth levels. The main pool is ideal for youngsters as well as adults to cool off, and play.

    The main pool sits next to the poolhouse al fresco dining & bbq area and yet is close to the house.

    Undulating beach slopes into a 18m x 16m pool, perfect for lazing as well as exercise with swimming lanes to do lengths, a shallower area for playing and a toddler circle for the littlest ones.

    Restored over 5 years by a former boat builder in Devon and brought to Puglia by the owner – the Airstream provides an exciting and unique annex for guests, which can be taken as an extra.

    The Airstream provides a cosy hideaway with all the amenities you could need. Master double bedroom with en suite wet room shower and toilet, also comes equipped with a projector and sound system to enjoy a movie curled up under the duvet.

    There is air conditioning for the summer and heating for the winter. The living room has a large dining table, which can be converted into another double bed. There is a galley kitchen with a double gas hob, grill and oven. Plus an installed Bose sound system to enjoy your favourite music under the stars.

    En suite walk in wet room shower and toilet, with mirror and wash basin – provides luxurious bijou wash amenities.

    The Airstream can be used as a base for a picnic or al fresco dinner, a romantic hideaway to steal away to for a secluded night, or a unique place for an overnight guest to stay if the main house is full.

    Petrarolo’s astro-turf tennis court is set 200m from the main house beyond the fruit tree grove, and the english lavender field. The court enjoys a stunning setting alongside the rose garden, with stunning views of the sea.

    The house’s red walled, Turkish hammam is set inside an ancient cellar room on the lower ground floor of the main house. With heated flooring and large stone slab for lying with steam provided by double steamers on a timer.

    A wash basin allows guests to cool off when needed. And double showers enable a spectacular way to end your steam session. The hammam is a perfect place to relax after a busy day of activities.
